So many people have purchased Get Paid to Speak by Next Week® that I decided to continue to help them once they launched their public speaking business with on-going challenges.

The biggest one they see is when they look in the mirror.

We all tend to get in our own way, and be so busy in chaos we neglect progress! So, this hurts me more than it hurts you, but I’m about to make the SERIOUS people accountable. If you don’t make an action plan and stick to it, you are not serious. I’d like THE SERIOUS people to have the GUTS to POST their action steps on MY blog for the world to see. Now let’s see how accountable you are and how much progress you make as a result of it.

Charli (who was in the room live) made things happen. This is how you get my attention. She sent me this e-mail today:

“Dawn and I are moving along in our plans. I shared with her what you said about “ just do something , it doesn’t have to be perfect, just get it done.”  We took your advice and had our first live Tele seminar on Friday morning. We sent out an email and asked what questions would you like us to answer about How to Create the Body you Want using the Law of Attraction. We got 3 questions and we spend the hour answering them.  We recorded it and  will be available for people to listen to if they missed the seminar. I am so excited to be working with Dawn  because we both have a desire to help people create what they want in their life!

“I have collected 180 and still counting emails from my students. Wherever I go, I have my clipboard with me and ask for email addresses because I am starting a Fit Tips Newsletter. My goal is to have 10,000 emails, too!! Blessings, Charli”

Charli is making it happen, how about you?

What will you commit to before the next Get Paid TV Webcast?

I will commit to really “hit it” on the two opportunities I have in the next week and a half.
I will be presenting on presenting to Box Hill College (125 young women) and doing something that hasn’t quite been defined yet for a large shipping company (training oriented to tanker ship crews). I’ll be looking for the testimonials with my Mino and asking what else I can do for them and companies like them. (Identifying client needs)

We’ll be traveling, but when wife is at the Bead Nd Button Show I’ll be at the Milwaukee Public Library researching in the Encyclopedia of Associations!

OK…went to the Milwaukee Public Library this morning and poured over the Encyclopedia of Associations. Wow. Overwhelming books! I have 2 pages of organizations to check out further when I get home.

    Hi Darren,

Just came across this blog via Google Alerts and thought I’d chip in. While I don’t have your Get Paid to Speak by Next Week program yet, I have listened to the podcast that you did and made furious notes.

I am in the process of emigrating to the U.S. (from London) as I’m getting married later this year. The restrictions of my fiance visa mean that I cannot work; I have to apply for a separate permit.

    Can you say “golden opportunity”?

This is perfect as it provides me with plenty of opportunities for researching my new home State, delving into the Encyclopedia of Associations and seeing how much stage time at Toastmasters, comedy clubs and civic organisations I can get until I’m allowed to make some green.

I’m currently formulating all this into an actionable plan. I’ll keep you posted on how things develop.

    Cheers,
    Jason
